A winning poker hand consists of five cards of the same suit. If you have more than one of these hands, the higher card wins. In other words, the highest pair wins. You also get points for having two pairs of the same suit. In the event of a tie, you’ll split your winnings equally. You’ll be able to split your winnings depending on the rank of the cards. A straight flush beats a pair of twos.

In many variations of the game, betting intervals are pre-determined. After a draw, the limit in draw poker and stud poker is twice as much as the limit before it.
